i also fold aces when to close to the money. its smart and simple. sometimes not a great play but if your to close to the money
rather get some money instead of none

Like someone a ways back said ... if your playing to make the money , you shouldn't be playing. You play to win and Aces late in a buyin or a freeroll can most likely get you a double up. You can't play with fear or you will never become a good player.
