cash game grind journey.. starting 7/20 ~ poker cash game group welcome

decided to mess around in client today with the donk crew.. im not going to play any poker today been playing alot lately going to set a shedule to play only 3 hours a night mon-fri.. thats more than enough for me 15 hours a week..

im registered for a tournament tonight but i really dont want to spend 4 hours stuck in a tournament , rather come and go freely with the cash games.

total bankroll atm $207.93 thats a increase of $53.14 ... (cashed out $1 in bonus have $24 left its hard to earn points grinding 1cent2cent games.)

i have been doing excellent in the ring games.. in fact i know i'm one of the best there i noticed one other shark at the table i avoid atm.

First, good luck, seems you are doing well so far. Are you still planning on playing live or just stick with the wsop site for awhile? My problem with playing live (other than the fact I'm not that good) is the rake. Where I play, and I think its pretty standard everywhere, they take out 10% for rake and another 10% for promos, the limit is $4 for rake and $2 for promos (this is 1/2 nl). So you really need to play big pots, which I usually try to keep pots low, minimize risk, which i guess doesn't work good in this structure.

I'd love to see some strategy posts from someone that has success at ring games, I seem to do better in tournaments than rings games, not sure what I do wrong. Again, gl, and let us know if and when you start playing live, I'm in delaware, used to go to AC a lot before they legalized it here, so just play at casinos here now, but I may go back once in awhile, maybe I'll see in a tourney there some time.

Absolutely I would love to play live.. Just remember at the micros use (kiss) keep it simple stupid.. No need to Cbet bluff in multi way pots.. No need to bluff, call marginal spots , or make fancy plays.. Just play tight use implied odds and isolate the fish.. Players at these levels are just idiots and I've played live in the past there morons at 1/2 i will not be doing any tournaments in ac.

I've been dabbing in 10nl the players are a little better that's it.. There nothing special i made a profit so far of a not so bad amount , should be more but I was uncomfatable moving up and made a few mistakes .. However I continued playing the past few days and now I still use kiss on them and I loosened up just a tiny amount cause it's 6max at 10nl .. And I'm able to grind a nice profit there..

I'm going to do live deffenately next month , also I will be at 25nl without a doubt next month.. I'll be sure to post a couple hands this Sunday!

felt i had the best hand on the flop not thrilled being oop, obv theres a ton of draws out there.. flush,straight straws.. turn im checking to try and control the pot size i have history on sjs he bet half pot on a draw on the turn before, and im not convinced scc hit that 8, on the turn i check again and im faced with a sick hero call river bet.. and since scc checked down a set of twos before in a previous hand and plays the board carefully im leading to think he missed his hand.. i take a while and make the call other player folds and the turk is a genius!

this is why im the greatest play in the history of pokerowned!

6max can make me go crazy.. I have to step away the rest of the week and restudy my game the 10nl players are weak but 6 max makes me tilt so I end up makingn stupid decisions..

Next week it's strictly 2nl and 4nl full ring than the following I'll take another shot at 6max 10nl my goal is to be at $280

Wow wasn't going to play then i came home from work just to play a quick session.. And it turned into a 1 and a half hour slaughter at 10 nl up 23 and change ..

what a heater i went on the past 2 days ended the week at $301.85 crushing mainly nl 10 for over 60 dollars in 2 days and a total profit for the week for a little less than a hundreed.. not bad

im going to skip the freeroll tommorrow heading to the beach on my day off, and will be relaxing with a nice corona ..

im going to honest i ran into some terrible cards the past few days.. AA cracked by AT, pp against higher pp, KK i flop a set they call something stupid like J8 and river a straight, etc etc.. i tilted my br down to $250 and decided to cash out and recieve a check in the mail..

im going to take some time off, relook at my game and improve on it.. im going to deposit another $25 next month , and wont quiet until i work my way up to $25nl.. $10nl is the best i have been at in a very long time

i think when you play a bit too much online for me anyway you see so many hands, and begin to tilt.. so i will be sticking to just one table next time.. also i want to experiment in live play maybe friday, any event.. my main sticking point is tilt control and keeping a level head, thats why i cashed out.. and will improve on my emotions playing the game , i truely believe im not ment to multi table, so i will be staying away from that.

$250 minus $25 dollar deposit im $225 richer.. .. but still have alot of work to do .. cya all in a few weeks

seems like a very good progress...multi tabling has its benefits as well as its downfalls. I personally agree with seeing too many cards makes a player goes tilt....
