In general, live poker at casinos is MUCH easier than online poker at comparable stakes and lower. Live B&M cardrooms generally draw looser gamblers and those there "for fun". Online poker, especially in the US draws more grinders, especially with its poor accessability.

In addition, live cardrooms start at much higher stakes. For example, the lowest NLHE ring values are typically 1/2, $200 stack in a casino. However, in the online realm, this is often the 6th stake level.

This is all pretty accurate in my opinion.

have fun, just remember that live is usually not standard and you will need to adapt to the players you're at the table with

^^^Depends on the table, but I don't ever feel the need to prove myself. If the table is tough for any reason (too many good players, or even too many bad players with a lot of chips creating too much variance for my limited roll) I have no problem unASSing my chair.
    And Ty, I will.

    ^^Ty, that is sound advice.

^I'm sure I'll enjoy myself even if I go bust on the first night (which I won't let that happen). My brother lives in CT and really likes Foxwood

I didn't mean any lack of respect. But you'll find the wealthy retirees sitting at the tables in the morning and just like everyone else most are just there to enjoy themselves. And that's when the limit tables are full and not full of sharks. It's generally slow easy money for a mathematical grinder.

Just placed in another PO freeroll; that's 4 out of 5 now! Only two were actually in the top ten percent though. But both were deep, and that's good. I worked tonight, it was decent, but I had to get gas and food for the pups on the way home. (Those priorities again) I still manage to throw another $25 in the AC fund which should have brought me up to -$425. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, a loan payment that should have bee drafted out of my account on the 5th wasn't. It is only a $94 payment so I hadn't even added it into my debt. But if I hadn't caught it it would have gone against my credit score when the next payment came around. So. I've made the payment and have decided to go ahead and pay off the rest of the loan to make sure this doesn't happen again. (I only owe another $360 plus whatever interest is accrued with no penalty for early payoff. I'm gonna call it $400). So I'm up to -$825 (about $1600 to go) I probably wont make my original tentative date of the 9th, but that's why it was "tentative", and I'm not discouraged.
