How long do you earn 1000 points?

Has anybody built a roll off of just the points here? Meaning skipping the tourneys and just holding the points til you can convert into the $25 Carbon a few times? And how long would it take to do it like that? Because I'm too impatient and always end up using tourney winnings instead of just saving them until I can afford to play at levels where the ridiculous b.s. goes down if only by a tiny bit.

You better taking a few thousand and doing good in the tourneys and place LLB bets to win alot of points.
