those steps are a hard way to work your way up, better off with the freerolls around here
they have new ones now with a 1.10 buy in and go up to step 6 or 7!! if u want to try to build your bankroll bigger!
i have to be real bored to do the steps but occassionally i do do them
I wouldn't say I've won them consistently, but I've won a few of them. Playing the steps can be so tedious.
i have about 1000 fun steps 1 for sale. who want some hit me up.
It's interesting how competitive the fun steps actually get, especially in round 3.
I used to play these, but by step 2 rather odd stuff starts to happen. For example, one guy gets down to about 450 in chips. after limping in UTG, it's folded around to a guy who pops it to 375. short stack calls, yes calls, leaving ony a few chips behind. Then, post flop, the guy who raised it just folds! Not disconnected, no, just folds it. Now the short stack has doubled. I wouldn't want to acuse anyone of chip dumping....aw, heck, we all know it is. Wouldn't think you would get people colluding for a shot at one dollar, but there it is. I could go on with other examples of EXTREMLY questionable plays, but you get the point. Stuff you rarely otherwise see seems to happen much more often in these. After I caught a guy bringing in chips into a live MTT once, the staff only banned the guy for a week, kind of tells you how serious a place takes stuff that isn't costing THEM any money.
