Being patient has nothing to do with waiting out the clock every time it's your turn. That's just being obnoxious, and in reality, just plain stupid. The blinds keep marching on, regardless of how long you take to make your play. Success via patience has to do with waiting for the appropriate opportunity to make a given play.

I get a little impatient, but usually it is like a 30-60 second clock, so nothing like a true tank at a casino where I guy gives you enough time to read War and Peace before he folds a pair of 4's on a board showing A-Q-J-9.

this post seems to be about something that we all see but don't ever talk about... except of course when the one dragging down the action starts getting cursed and smart talked... I like it when a player that runs down his clock every time gets a ugly remark or two at the table

depends on the player. Q8o is an autmatice for some people...! Patience != abusing the clock. 30 second clock in a 12 minute level is like if someone constantly sat for 2.5 minutes in every hand on an hour level tourney. That's just rude.
