no it can make your profits soar if you can actually handle it, takes some practice too get good at though
Wow why don't people like to talk about multitabling?
never do that i lost 200$
I multitable, but only up to 4 tables. Cannot handle more than 4 tables...
I won a 45 plr tourney while multitabling but I lost the ring game inherent from mixing up the whereabouts/table-image.
Too much going on for me , I prefer the one table .
I don't multi talble that much anymore since pokerstars got taken out the US
it also helps keep varience level in my opinion.
I multitable, but only 3 or 4 tables, not more.
3 or 4 is the most i can do at ome time too. sometimes 4 gets a little hard to do.
with my agression i don't like to do it . because i find myself playing only aces-jacks if im playing so many tables.
I rarely multitable because it is harder to focus on 3 or 4 games at once, as opposed to just one. It could be profitable if you know what you are doing but you have to get used to it.
Yeah, it can break your concentration some, but it can maximize your profits.
Indeed one has to be very concentrated and I have to be careful not to play marginal hands
When I multi-table it seems like I am too distracted to play my best. But sometimes I get bored playing one table. Need to keep practicing. IMO multi-tabling allows for more opportunity.
I always play more than a single table but not more than 3 or 4. I do it to keep from getting bored on a single table and start playing cards that I shouln't, just to break the boredom,,,just my thoughts
I quit multi tabling because I would have a screen pop up and call people, then realize it was the wrong game and bust...or accidently go all in on the wrong hand so I just stick to one at a time now......havent been playing well lately more me than the cards though.....lol
ive tried multitabling but seems its to hard to concentrate on 1 tbl when u have 2 more going at same time it just puts me in a rush and i lose!Any suggestions guys to help me with this?
set up a 2 monitor system to you PC and run 1-2 games on each monitor thats what my friend does(which actually works for him)
no problem...I just like the idea because it also gives you more room, and you dont to juggle multiple tables popping up that way.....so you dont make as many mistakes in the end, let me know how it works out for you if you do try it
it's bad until u get your master A-game concentration on the whole amount of tables :D
You have to learn to multi table if you are going to freeroll a bankroll. It takes too damn long one freeroll at a time.
Most I've ever done at once is 8 tables, 2 screens with 4 tables each. I think the most I could probably play at once would be like 12.
8 ore more tables is too much for me. I only play up to 4 tables on my laptop
yea I think 4 tables is a lil much for me at times....usually I just get really aggressive and try to get big stacks in all of them and as I get bounced from them I just slow down(I only multi-table freerolls)
I multiplayer 8-12 cash game tables then another 5-8 mtt its very very profitable plus with rakeback its like going to the atm
hi
Don't jump into it to early without a lot of practice..... I can remember trying to 12 table right off the bat and it wasn't smart start with 4 and move forward from there
I usually play 2-3 tables at a time. If I play just one table, I get a bit bored and play sloppier and actually pay less attention.
lately I have been playing 1 table at a time now mainly for consistency reasons
there is a guy on pdc who plays like ten tables at a time - he runs the clock out almost every hand - so annoying and rude in my opinion - i avoid sitting with him
I think im gonna start using Carbon's 1 look feature. You can see all your tables on 1 screen.
also they do not do this a live tables so why on line - part of playing poker is watching your table and the people so multi tables does not allllow that concentration
4 tables seems to be the most i can do and keep a profit. More than that, and any edge i have is lost
I'll play multi table FR's, but that's about it.
2 tables fine, but over that u cant focus on game... You can play it but u can see other players, who bluffs who play only good cards etc...
