Well I think these multi entry tourneys deplete your bankroll much quicker

well yah, poker sites make money off of rake, the more you enter the more rake is made for the site. Economics 101

Yeah I think they did this for guaranteed tournaments that they were losing money to hold like the daily dollar.

I completly agree, and many times i have cashed mulitple entries but barely make anything,
