I won my poker league and got a $2,500 entry to a tournament at Foxwoods. I was a total bust.

I have never played in a big money tourney. Has anyone here won one?

I played in a Doyle's Room Sunday tourney and finished 4th (780 entrants). Won $11,350 from a $12.50 satellite buy-in. This was a few years ago when I could play online poker at any site I wanted. I was even able to withdraw the money without myself or the poker site becoming criminals (which we would be now, according to the US justice department).

It was very exciting to make that final table at Doyle's. It did take two "big luck" plays along the way to make it there. I played almost 8 hours to get to the final four.
