No Op. I don't like the rebuys and addons unless the size of the tournament is 10 entrants or less. But it makes the prize pool more as people rebuy and add on chips. Add on s are cool, but one entry one person is my thing.
Really dislike both,,, rebuys and add-ons,,, I'm a tight player and with my money,,,they favor money pockets
I prefer freezouts myself, I never do well in rebuys.
i think of a rebuy/addon same as freezeout, just figure 3X buyin, reg, rebuy, and addon, if i get knocked out, i don't usually rebuy, but you can find a lot of players who are just looking to double up with almost any two and if they lose, they just rebuy, so you can get a good opportunity to double early if you get a good hand, of course you can also get unlucky and lose early, but chance you have to take.

IMO rebuys only bring out the IDIOTS in players. I know theres a strat to it but to me its senseless to push with trash
I HATE rebuys and add ons because but don't mind freezouts.I like staright tournys without any add ons.....

Are there any rules of thumb about when you should/shouldn't rebuy? Rebuy all the time every time, or rebuy if you will have more than 10bbs after the rebuy, or ???
i tend to stay awy from the frenzys that let you rebuy unlimited but the single add on and single re buys are a good way to get added money in the prize pool
If the rebuy and addon tourneys have 10 minute levels they're just like a freezeout. The only difference is in the lower ones you have donkeys shoving all in preflop with 100-200 big blinds. I usually just buy in, rebuy once, and addon once so I know it's a flat loss if I do lose, which is rare. ;)
yeah I agree with everyone, freezeouts are better. I don't know why all the sites have so many rebuys/addons now.
I like rebuys/addons because you can have a huge advantage when you do the rebuys/addons and other players dont.
Rebuys/addons are usually more profitable that freezeouts in the sense that the prizepool grows. But, you might want to have a deep bankroll to play in them. Most people push all in a lot during the rebuy period. As for freezeouts, I prefer them, I don't have to worry about someone playing badly knowing they can rebuy.
rebuys and add ons are nothing but donkfests its annoying as hell and i rarely cash in them, i wont go in for more than the $1 buy ins and usually only the $33 satty coupon because its worth 10vips and the add on is 20K

I'm on his observations decided that if we take the rebuys and add-ons, then refer to your bank did not begin seriously, because I understand that I can take more chips. So my conclusion is that I am against re-buys and add-ons!

Personally, I'm stubborn, and won't rebuy until I'm out of chips. The only time I make an exception is when it is near the end of the rebuy period and I am short stacked. I always take the add on.Quote:

I love the rebuys. They're full of donks wanting to give away their stacks, and you never have to wory about being knocked out until the rebuy period is over. It's up to you to decide when to quit.

I like them both in different ways. Freezeouts give you consistent play and less variation in the first hour. Rebuys give you bigger prize pools and if you're patient enough to wait until you have a big hand, don't chase draws, etc., they can give you a decent sized chipstack for not too much money (relative to what the donks are throwing in) and all those donks are building the prize pool for when the real tournament begins when the rebuy period is over.
I them both, but i prefer Buy-outs because the prize pool is bigger then ;)
Most people that say they hate rebuys say it cause they don't have an enough bankroll to play them.
There is a filosofy to play rebuys but I don't rly like them either, just because they usually bring huge fields with a big late reg.
But I've done some good scores in rebuys, allways good when you're in the chip lead and the rebuy period ends :)

rebays are turbo play so freezeouts are beter if you tigh end you lose min of money
rebuys ask for biger bankroll then freezouts for me that is only differents ....
Freezeout, I love it because, It is like real life, U have one change And use IT!
I think freezeouts are the best because people respect your bets and will fold. In rebuy it seems like their are a bunch of donks that shove with any two cards that they get.
Freezeouts, they seem to be fairest of them all.
For me it all depends on my mind frame at the time, like if I'm in a hurry or not. Sometimes I like freezeouts too though. Bankroll definately matters too, lol.
