u either go all-in preflop or try to pretend ur playing high pair like j's and above..

I saw once a guy (a very good dutch guy) he plays the NL100, NL50 and is very succesful.
I saw his pokertracker stats: profit:
AA: $47000
AK: -$3000
Man it was a shock to see that.
I do a small raise, and slow play when hit.

Nice Allin hand when shortstacked, but I try not to overplay it and to let it go when not hitting the board.

while i play AK im not opposed to folding after the flop if i miss with it. never will you see me fire three bullets with the hand if i miss

Many people over-value AK post-flop. If you miss the flop, don't be stubborn. Re-evaluate, and be prepared to let it go. There's a reason that another name for this hand is "Walking back to Texas."
