I had a good week in PO freerolls. Won over $40 last week. I haven't been playing enough on other sites besides carbon. Therefore my new goals are: 1. win money on a non carbon site this week 2. reach $400 on carbon 3. to reach $500 total
Carbon $361.92
Sportsbook $6.02
Hero Poker $18.99
Bet Online $0.95
America's Card Room $7.00
Juicy Stakes $33.90
Total: $428.78
i did not follow proper bankroll procedure. i won 9 bucks from a freeroll. then i....
Still only playing freerolls but I am getting close to looking into what real money games I want to play. I am leaning towards 4nl cash and $5 and under tournies but I hate the structure of most of the micro tournies.Quote:
Are you playing anything real money on Carbon yet?
Keep up the good work! Makes me want to save my earnings.
Good job. But you can do it because you have a lot of time to play these freerols
just freeroll wow that is great.
nice.Im just so paranoid merge will shut down so I always try and get into mtts and try to win a withdrawable amount. You are definately goin to do well though gl
never put more then 5 percent of your bankroll on the line at one time. then you can compensate for any bad luck streaks you will encounter
man that is really impressive for you to have built such a large bankroll from just freerolls in 2 months. I hope to also build at least $100 before I start playing real money games, but that takes a ton of patience!! which I really respect that you have the discipline to do that. I think it is good to just enjoy the game of poker instead of doing it all for the money.
you have great dicipline with your bankroll. I wish i had it but I keep mind between $60 and $80. Keep up the good work and see you on the felt in PO tourneys.
nice good going. for me its hard to save up. i cashed in a $200 freeroll on carbon when they had them and used my $2.20 satty coupon to win a buck! its hard to save lol
what are you saving it for. I like the 11 dollar tourneys, so once i get over 11, i play one, don't know how you can resist playing something, good luck on getting to whereever your goal is
bankroll managment is a very important part of poker. it is essential to winning
The best bankroll management for me right now, is to not use any real money; just save it for later.
im broke at the moment but when I finally start making money I plan on saving it for awhile myself :) wanna work on my bankroll management first since I think thats one of my biggest weaknesses at the moment
I am actually thinking of saving it up for 1 year to see how much I can make off of freerolls(although I dont know if I have the patience and self control to do that ).....lol
i have doone a good job!
great job,congragiulations dude
Today is the day. I got rakeback today. And it has now been two months since I have been grinding just freerolls. I am going to start playing real money games with the goal of not going broke.
I am going to start playing 4nl (.02/.04). I will start 6-8 tabling am reevaluate from there. If I get below $350.00 on carbon I will reevaluate if 4nl is beatable. I will do this by analyzing my play, reviewing HH, and studying my opponents. I think 4nl is going to be hard to beat, but with rakeback I am optimistic I can beat it. I am going to focus on playing great poker every day, not on the swings of my bankroll.
I am mostly an MTT player so I will be using any winnings to freeroll into tournies. Specifically I am looking to play $5 and below tournies with good structure, overplay, or big prizepools. Most of the micro stakes have terribad structure so this will be difficult.
Carbon $374.42
Sportsbook $6.02
Hero Poker $18.99
Bet Online $0.95
America's Card Room $7.00
Juicy Stakes $33.90

how did you get rakeback playing freerolls? guessing it wasn't based on vip pts. gl with the 4nl. if you get bored with it, come play some 4nlo8 and i might see you on a cash table.
I signed up for rakeback by emailing staff. I havent earned any of it yet.
FINALLLY!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEE I look forward to seeing how u do and GL:) diddddy, u just write supooort and ask for rakeback on ur acct tho. .. I hope u go far and dont lose ur moeny u built all from freerolls too..
I don't miss your rakeback rants too much, but maybe a littttttle bit. I can contribute me getting rakeback 100% to you talking about it 24/7 to me though. So thank you lolQuote:
since i got rakeback, do u miss my Rakeback rants tho????LOL
rakeback i wish was weekly on carbon instead of daily....cause then every friday or whatever I would get like way more of a big clump of rakeback money....instead of little bit a day....
Just finished my first 2/4 session. I did 6-8 tables for 3 hours. Had a pretty solid session playing wise. I ran KK into AA pre for $11 pot and it ran out x x x K A. Also had KK on 2 3 4 in a 3bet pre pot and lost to A5 for another $10 pot. But still managed to be up $5. I am happy enough with that.
if you want to build a bankroll you must have rakeback everything helps....also you must stay strict and not over play your limits. wont get rich over night....keep grindin!!!
Thanks for the motivation TrueOC. I am very happy about getting rakeback it was a leading factor in me deciding to start playing real money games.
wow done keep up the good work
ive tryed to get a bankroll going
but lose focus and forget the rules and lose
so stick to the plain
yep keep grinding and maybe one day you will represent PO at the WSOP
I think that was pretty impressive. You should continue to improve man. Keep working hard.
Sure you can you just have to work hard, be consistent and never give up. mate.
been playing on carbon for 7 yrs and have had up to 600 in there at one time but rebuilding bankroll now
yea my weakness is bankroll management too :( just dont have the patience. i need some tips on that one
