Good job. I hope you do good when you start playing real money games to. Keep us updated.

yes use patience becuase you wont get rich overnight and just stay focused....:) gl.
nice bankroll ,i hope you set your goal god luck to you
As most of you know I'm a Micro and freeroll player. With a investment of maybe two hundred dollars or so buying points here and playing a few thousand freerolls at different forums (most pre Black Friday). In the last 5 or 6 years I've cashed checks from poker sites for a total of maybe in the $6,000 to $7,000 range. Now I play 8 to 10 hours a day, every day. You figure that in, it's not that big of a return on the time spent playing. I just LOVE the game of POKER.
This is such a good point. You have to love the game and want to play, not just the money. Thanks for the post wagon. Helps me keep my focus on playing good and winning, no matter what stakes.Quote:

Lots of nh people in here I like it alot wwwwwwwwwwwhat up
Sounds like you are a rock with your bankroll management. Keep it up!
Good shit yo, wish i could keep from playing my FRs the majority of the time.
BRM is such a bummer. It's my least favorite thing about poker, even worse than bad beats
terrible you suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
I've been on a sick micro heater on carbon. 2 weeks ago I was down to about $1.50 and with playing some 0.11, 0.60 and 1.06 SnGs and a $4 hit on a PO freeroll I'm up to $23
bankroll management is the most important part of poker
I wish I had good bankroll management.
Too bad PO paid him off $11.50 before he was banned
Updated Bankrolls. I crossed the $300 total mark! I haven't made much progress on other networks only carbon, so my goal is to build up at least a few more dollars on the other sites this week. I also want to get to $300 on carbon before playing real money games.
Carbon $243.07
Sportsbook $6.02
Hero Poker $16.69
Bet Online $0.95
America's Card Room $7.00
Juicy Stakes $45.00
Total: $318.73
good luck....keep up the nice work! :) Stay strict and smart and you should be fine! gl!

Today was a bittersweet day. I reached my goal of $300 on carbon. But I got headsup on PO and my computer died in what would have been a B2B victory. I also missed grinder by 4 pts, without playing loyalty. I am close to playing real money games now. But I still want to grind just freerolls for a little longer.
Carbon $303.97
Sportsbook $6.02
Hero Poker $18.99
Bet Online $0.95
America's Card Room $7.00
Juicy Stakes $33.90
Total: $370.83
Wow very nice, sharkking.
I commend your restraint, and determination. Like I said in chat, do us a favor, make sure down the road when we see you on the WPT final table,,, Mike Sexton calls you "Sharking" so we know its you. You're still young, but I think you certainly have it in you to get there.
good job man!
I feel like I am a decent player but my br management is so bad lol I just cant help jumping into games for half my bankroll tryin for that big hit Its just shameful
Are you still exclusively playing freerolls? Or are you making the transition to cash? With a $200 BR on Carbon you can safely play the .05/.10 tables rather than .02/.04. The 10NL tables will play better and have more exploitable fish. Variance is high on the 4NL tables because of all the players looking for a quick double up. It's hard to get a read and get the money in when you are ahead. At 10NL players have a bit more reserve and don't throw the $10 around like it's nothing.
The other thing you can try is .25/.50 Full Limit. It's a big change to go to FL; however, you will be playing at much higher levels with that BR. For BRM at FL you should have about 300 big bets, so .25/.50 you have much more than that. Get to $300 and you can safely play .5/1.
Bankroll Building is a fancy way of saying , u win some, u lose some , u withdraw - u play with some & goes on like hat
I am gonna try this and see how I fair out till the end of the year will keep everyone posted on my results as well, I only play on carbon at the moment though
nice keep grinding your way up
