Like Gametime says......you can do fine, but any...repeat ANY trouble and the shit hits the fan. Make sure it's a nice quiet under the radar deal and you'll be fine.

If the ppl that bust wanna play pool or ping pong, I should get that available?

Most always havee a fridge stocked with sodas, occasional cheap beer and allow you to BYOB. To get themselves up and running took quite a bit of investment for the good ones, and they have very professional dealers with a casino background. The owners pretty much all started by dealing their own tables and becoming known for a reliable, safe and not fixed house...believe me...live houses with sit in house players get spotted and talked about quickly. I wish you luck and hope it works well for you, and if there's any other info about any of these rooms that I can help you with, just let me know and I'll try and get it for you. Good Luck!!!
I was thinking of hiring a dealer and getting a BlackJack table but would the cops be involved at that point?

Can you give me a link to how the betting integrates to who goes first or who has positioning where? That would really help coz I play by instinct when I play.

I will be providing very cheap beer for free as I don't want the cops involved.

No trouble hopefully. I will have some friends of mine working there.

Can you guys help me with an ad? I was thinking:

Frood Street Home Poker Room (402)---friendly environment, no rake, but a buy-in fee to pay for the free beer (optional but NO drinking thereafter): $20.00 STT at $2.00---Ring Game: 10% of deposit: $20.00 minimum, $50.00 maximum.
Following the ad will be pics found on page 1 along with the other pics I will get once I start moving in the stuff.

So is this actually legal to do in Canada? Because if not, an ad might get you in trouble.

im thinking youre gonna find it hard to keep people interested in 1 or the other as far as sng or ring game. also 25/50c blinds???? i run a 1/2$ nl game every friday night. thats why im never here after 4 on fridays. theres a limit omaha game 2/4$ that starts at 6pm then my nl game at 8pm. the omaha game usually plays til 2am and the nl game runs til 5am minimum and sometimes up til noon sat. we dont charge an entry fee to buyin. 10% of the pot up to 50$ so 5$ max rake. after that its all to the players. we also do not charge for food drinks soda or beer and snacks. all that is paid for out of rake. if youre gonna run a game you need to make some money for your time or its not worth it. and dont charge players anything but a normal rake.

i think once you get a solid group of people together youll find they dont even notice the rake. take a chance and get paid man

Well, there's is gonna be an arcade machine with +300 games, a pool table, ping-pong table, and a chess board along with a stereo.

I'm making the DECAL like Medieval: Sword n' Shield Mount, Thieves Kit (dungeon wares), Oak Table, Walking Stick, Candle Lamp (Medieval), 1/3 scale Suit of Armor (knight), Banner, Medieval Coins, Chalice (where the money goes in), Medieval Ashtray, Oak Barrel, Canteen Mugs, Medieval Crossbow (disfigured), Medieval Chess Board, and a Medieval Journal (that goes on the oak table).

The betting goes: Pool Table: no bets; Ping-Pong Table: bets; Chess Board: bets; Mortal Kombat: bets (with me).

    Three Tables: $10.00+$1.00 = 5 cent/10---$20.00+$2.00 = 10 cent/20---$50.00+$5.00 = 50 cent/100.

P.S. The rake is basically gonna pay for the case of beer which can constitute 4 beers to each player if the play is six handed, but I'll have reserves in my closet. Add free snacks and you can't go wrong, but to each his own coz I don't want even a burp to tell-tale my composure!!

    Theme 1 = Medieval Concept = $800.00 CAD
    Theme 2 = Games Room = $3,120.00 CAD
    Theme 3 = Arcade Machine = $2,500.00 CAD
