yea i play those step tourneys alll the time on carbon ...its a lot of grinding and you have to get 1st on step 3 and you recieve a dollar but boy dont it hurt to get second after you play 2 to 3 hours. but it will be alright good things to come!
Have have forgotten about them every since I found PO, meaning its not worth the time, better ways to come up from $0 out there.

I play em'. It sucks getting 2nd on step 3. They should do like .50 for 2nd and the winner a dollar.
I just got sucked out on FS3 in fourth. Sucks.

ive played them myself for ahwile.... it was much better when hero poker was around, bc they had other ways to freeroll into monies... as other poster said it does suck getting 2nd in the step 3 after playing for hours- it kinda plays like a real money( like a dollar) sng. when i first played them i couldnt lose(won like 20-30 overall- would run it up to a decent amt lose it all then start all over) now it seems like i cant win lol( im like 2-20 with like 12-14 2nds) actually playing one now lol
I like the PO freerolls for building funds. The funsteps are a real grind. I found the way to do it is play all 10 of the step 1's at once. Play them straight up - don't just go all in. You can get step 2 about 50 - 60 % of the time. Then play all your step 2s. You should be able to get a couple step 3s per day. Of course that only translates to about a buck a week. Pretty tedious.

I don't like these fun steps. I played it a few times but, don't play them anymore.
I play Fun Steps all the time.. Good way to practice your grinding skills. I usually win one step and take a break instead of playing back to back and get burned out...

Glad you agree. I never play a step 1 properly, it's too time consuming. I have seen step 1's go on for nearly an hour!!!

The PokerOwned freerolls are a much better way to get a small amount of cash quickly. Of course I didn't know about them until I joined Carbon. They weren't offered on the skin I was on before.
I'll keep playing Fun Steps unti I freeroll my bankroll up to 40. I'm on a mini hiatus from PO FRs cause I'm trying to build up my points balance.
when i do play them, i almost always get to step 2.. then i save my step 2's... and then when i get through 10 step 1's (the limit for a day) i go on to my step 2's and then play the step 3's...
if i dont play them i at least purchase with fun money one ticket for step 1 before midnight, in case i end up playing the next day, because then the next day i can play in 11 cause one ticket will already have been bought...
do you get carbon points for playing in the steps tourneys?
i try it once in awhile but so manu donks in fun step one not real poker

I played these for a week before I realized how big of a waste of time these are. I realized on average you have to play >50 tournaments to win $1. I was converting about 50% of step 1s to step 2s, about 40% of step 2s to step 3s. So 40 step 1s -> 20 step 2s -> 8 step 3s -> and I never won one, just bubbled a couple of them.

The other bad thing about these is the tickets expire after a week so you can't play a bunch of step 1s and stockpile the step 2s. You have to keep switching between each level. By the third step most people have some idea of what they are doing beyond just clicking buttons, which can't be said about step 1 or sometimes step 2.
I did these a few times right after Black Friday when I had to start up on Carbon, I don't have the patience for them now, lol

It's tough to convert often, but is def possible and prob easier to start a BR that way opposed to the $50 FR MTT's.
If you don't mind a lot of bingo these sometimes can be fun. Have one a lot of FS 3's and hey its free money
