anyone have a site they prefer to play on?
I play mostly on America's Cardroom and Seals w/ Clubs, mainly because cashouts are relatively quick and hassle free.
Can't stand Bovada. ACR and BCP are okay. Betonline and fullflush have tons of freerolls.
bovada is solid. they are pretty user friendly, and have decent traffic from players who usually dont play poker. Their interface links the casino and sportsbook to the poker software seamlessly. I think they are a good bet for players who don't use huds as it takes the adv away from your opp who could be using huds normally. I highly recommend this sites MTTs! Also, If you wanna play rush poker (i.e. poker where you can fold fast and move to a new table) bovada is the only place i know of.
blackchip poker's gui is despicable imo. It looks gross, and just feels awful to play on. BUT their games and traffic are very solid. It's on the Winning network, and they better releasing of the 1st deposit bonus and rakeback than merge network in my opinion. They have a great series of MTTs as well with good Gtd pools. The site is reminiscent of full tilt's layout a little. Another good thing is that these guys have satties going all the way up to actual live tourney packages! this is somethign that merge seems to lack.
If you wanna play winning network then def dont use bcp. Go with america's cardroom or true poker. These are just skins of the same netwrok and look better than bcp.
Merge=>(Carbon poker or aced poker) is pretty solid. They have decent sized MTT's but nothign what they used to be. Cash games are declining in popularity as well. The site still has reasonable traffic. I'd say cashing out here is a little more annoying than the other two. However, cashing is not tremendously hard to do, it just takes time. I'd say carbon is a solid site, but lacks bigger guaranteeds that bcp and bovada can pull for some MTTs. carbon has a good interface, and for that reason I like it more than bcp. carbon also has more po tourneys, so if you plan to play a lot of po freerolls to build a BR, then opening an acct in carbon would be ideal.
if you are in new jersey or vegas, there are some other options for you. I personally find seals with clubs to be a little untrustworthy and the bitcoins factor not be too apealing. THe benefits there though would be quick liquidity and fast cashouts! A easy way to get bitcoins is through coinbase.com
Overall. Bovada for decent cashout speed and good MTTs and Rush poker. Winning network pretty solid, but slower cashout than bovada but fast bonus payouts and many gtds. as well as great satties. Merge network pretty solid overall, good cash games, but payout a little slower. MTTs fine here as well, and some huge tourneys. SWC good if u trust bitcoins bc they have super super fast payout. Traffic not necessarily the highest there, though.
ALSO, remember to signup for these sites through the bankroll boost link on this site!!!
I play bovada. But only because it is the best option. If there was anything else decent available I'd move on. Are there any players here in Jersey or Nevada, or any other states that have made online legal? If so, how is that working out?
Play on Bovada. Pretty much every other site is a waste of time. Bovada has fast cashouts and great games. ACR will start going downhill with there re entries just like carbon has.
Carbon's tough. Better average players than I've seen on any other site so far. Not much for micro limits either
I don't think that any one site is better then the other. It is really what you are looking for. If your looking for alot of freerolls then carbon is not the one. BCP, Americas cardroom and true have alot of freerolls. They are on the same network so you can play on all of them.
You cant :D
seems American Cardroom the most positive feedback am going to look into it
Yeah BCP/ACR/Bovada are the places you want to play
I usually play Carbon Poker from here.... I've come to know a few of the players from PokerOwned in the tourneys there.... it's all fun
I used to play carbon a lot. I haven't for a while now though. I mainly stick to bcp now because I cant find any freerolls on carbon
is carbon and bet online trust worthy and ok for U.S. players?
new to forum... been on bovada for a week pretty solid and the customer support is pretty good. I love the sunday 100k but could onlly play it once ..word on the street is carbons cashouts take forever and bovadas are quick.
Can anyone give some information on full flush? How are the cashouts and the traffic? I'm looking for more sites to play on currently Bovada and the winning network but always looking for better sites. Any kind of promotional stuff going on with them?
I enjoy Carbon poker.
I prefer Personally playing on Blackchip Poker because of the graphics...I honestly like a good design with my game
If i had the choice though...I would always aaaalways pick poker stars 365 days a year...RIP
pokerstars is rigged to the hilt in my view i played there for several yeaars and they use alot of bots like bol does the best poker site for us people are carbon and bcp
poker stars has 5000 to 10000 in one game thats alot it is a challenge tho to win one but takes several hrs to play one game when at carbon or bcp you have the every hr or 2 and yes sometimes it takes 3 hrs to finish a game on those sites as well but never 5 or 6 hrs just for 1 game
thats crazy to play that long unless it pays real good and they dont i know
I am playing mostly on Carbon, ACR and Bovada. I used to play a lot on PO but it has declined over the last year. I've started an Acct w BCP and am trying to build a bankroll for free. (Which is why I'm on this site.) I have 8$ from FR and points, and plan on playing micro once I have a few more Buy ins. Carbon is a little tough but good WR if you target the fish. ACR has lots of fish. Bovada is the site making me the most money, but no HUDs is a real pain in the ass.
so far carbon has beent he place for me enjoy playing there like the omaha tourneys but the long late registration sux
honestly not a fan of any of them only play freerolls never using my money
I just noticed that blackchip poker has a lot of freerolls. Is anyone a reg there and cashout?
Bovada is really good a payouts, the weekends mtt's are pretty big (for a US site), and cash games hold up even into after hours. .. so i say bovada IMO
all the po games are good then there are others too.
Carbon Poker has the most traffic by far, but the cashouts are ridiculously long. Most of the cashouts took 6 weeks a few came in 4 weeks. BCP is solid and extremely soft and quick cashouts..Only took 2 weeks to get a check. Bovada is also very reliable, but no HUD blows.
they each have their own qualities. I like BCP/ACR because of the satties they have and the fact you can take tourney bucks instead of accepting the seat you win...if you do it right. Carbon is good because of their wide selection of low buy-in tourneys going on all the time, but the competition is tougher. And Bovada is good because the competition isn't too rough and they're reasonable with the amount of time they allow late reg and have a wide variety of buy-in ranges.
I'd say carbon poker, but thats just me. even though i think the site is hard core rigged
Ive played at my fair share of sites. Im not a huge fan of Bovada anonymous tables, it hard to keep track of what player is sitting and the style they play. At ACR and Black Chip, for some reason the deposit and withdrawals options do not work for me, always get a cannot display webpage. Support couldnt do much for me either they were as stumped as i was. So i finally found my way to Carbon, and back to the merge network. I gotta say merge and carbon poker is prolly the best available right now. ive never had any problems deposting, withdrawing, disconnections, or really shady players either.
The one and only problem with Bovada (the deal-breaker for me) is that you can't tell who you are playing against. I take notes on players that can help out in future games. Also, I usually go with a general 75% reverse player archtype prediction based off the names. Example: your name is SirBluffsAlot - I would assume this player is more tight and solid than his name suggests because the nature of the game is deceit.
I'm loving Carbon, not only because of the PO freerolls all the time for decent money, but also because there's plenty of fish to take some easy money from. I hear cashing out is a breeze too once you confirm your identity.
I play on BCP in private tourneys Aced is ok and Bovada has a good amount of tourney action but the payouts suck if your on the bubble get knocked out in a suckout move.
I play on Black Chip Poker 90% of the time. Other 10% I play on Carbon. I like BCP because of the p2p transfer option.
OK, 'm playing regularly on BCP and juicy stakes... also PO FR' at Carbon (as you can see from my preferences) I mostly play freerolls... trying not use my rare winnings so's to build up a small BR... I think I'm a better 6handed Sit and Go plyr rather than a MTT player, but trying to develop better skillz there too.. Don't Care for the Bovada interface, (didn't much like Bodog B4 either) Still miss Poker Stars and Full Tilt, but also VERY disillusioned by the Multiple Convictions and continuing revelations of malfeasanse, Collusion, and Cheating.... The Lock and Bovad if's just don't lead to an enjoyable poker experience for me...
I hear more good things about Bovada than any site when it comes to cash outs for US players. I like to play on Seals w/ Clubs myself. Not too many people have jumped on the Bitcoin Poker wagon but I find cashouts easy and fastert han any poker site.
ACR is a pretty good site too. Action is great. What about Intertops? Anyone play there?
Bovada will put some sport bettors lookin for some play as a diversion, if only bcp would get more players, I kind of like it there.
