I don't have to even bother adding the prize amounts up to know that they are not paying out the guaranteed amounts in these situations simply b/c some of the smaller games like a $300 GTD ending up with a $158 prize pool, The prizes given out do not add up to $300! That's a fact & its hard to imagine a real poker player who doesn't care about $$$.
I know this to be true with out adding all the prizes together b/c I pay close attention to the payouts all the way though a tourney, especially before late reg closes since the number of prizes & amounts will change quite a bit depending on how many people enter.
So what if it doesn't happen that often, it doesn't change the fact that it shouldn't be happening at all. Saying it doesn't matter is just ignorant & acting like you play poker & don't care about the payouts is even more retarded.
