who do you feel is to blame for the full tilt fiasco? howard lederer or chri ferguson me personally i say ferguson as he was the main mastermind behind it all.
How about both of them, as well as Ray Bitar all had a role as it was all their jobs to overlook stuff like that.
Lederer disgusts me anyways though. This just added to it.
I blame all of them equally. They knew what they were doing so they should all take the blame for it.
Yeah I blame them all equally, I hate Howard Lederer he seems so smug.
I think all involved are equally culpable including the players who knew they were operating in a grayish area so ............
Anyone that would have complained about putting in their money in that site if something goes wrong, and it does. People knew the risks, if they cared about money and they still they did it, they have no one to blame but themselves. Where did they think these websites were hosted? LA? NY?
Very true always a risk with international sites
I think ray though didnt realize how deep he was getting into it i think he is the dumbest of the 3 by far tho
I never played at full tilt or poker stars back when americans could play there so I really couldnt say.
I wasn't a part of the fiasco, but I certainly still blame them both equally for the issue, besides throughout my learning of poker those were always the players i didn't like watching on shows like PAD, always ruined great tables [especially lederer]
I played on there and never had any problems. I never left any large amounts of money in my account. I still do that . On any site I play I think it's better to get your money out as soon as you can. It's hard to trust any of these sites. Since we play in the USA and our gov. doesn't want to legalize poker then you never know when they are going to decide to go after someone. I always try to keep my funds moving. Better safe then sorry.
I blame my friend that got me a fake ID and gamble at the circus circus when i was 15 yr old.
No no...it's somehow connected to Obama. It's gotta be part of his ObamaCare confusing it with OmahaCare...I dunno, I guess we'll find out in the next Full-Tilt news brief at the White House.
I suspect they all knew that the player deposits weren't being held separately and signed off on that.
all this is why we need poker in usa - and the sites will be safer - a month from now i will be playing in new jersey - will let you know what happens
we're all just kidding ourselves if we think everythings gonna be ok online... ever.. because NEVER is the right answer.... the US government made it illegal because some of the politicians that were playing online got tire of being cheated... go figure.... and Obama prolly isn't worth a damn on the tables either.... we quickly forget the bots and cheater programs that let you see everyone elses cards.... I know we wish life was fair and honest.... but guess what... it's not
blame individual greed. there is plenty of to villify.
Ray is the dumbest, Howard the most hated-and seems like he still doesn't get what an a-hole he is and how bad he screwed over some people's lives. Ferguson- I'm not sure, seems like he should have known better, so I guess you can say he is the most to blame, because he seemed smart enough to figure out how horrible the business was.
I didn't loose any big money on Black Friday, but I am still pissed that Ferguson and others haven't made any real public statements about it. Damn, murders will sit down and do an interview once the court proceedings are over, and these guys still don't give any answers regarding any of the matter
definitely both of them also!! idiots LOL
bitar, ferguson, lederer, other admins and the DoJ for handling it horribly.
lol i cant even trust the bank. They want you to put money in, but they always get the better benefit.
I blame all of them equally. They knew what they were doing so they should all take the blame for it.
They all knew what was going on, so the blame is equal
neither i think that they just got the money and had no clue what was going on behind closed doors the just knew that they where getting paid but i dont know how they where getting paid just my oppinion tho
hold on what do you mean what did they do to cause a fiaso with full tilt I thought is was just the goverment who shut it down
yea i would blame them all the same. they were all in it together, all profited together at the expense of our hard earned(grinded) dollars. And imo it has taken far too long for this to have been resolved. Whats the fn holdup????
i never trusted international sites no legislation - lets see what happens with national sites now
why cant these sites just take our money through rake have to do nothing for it and they take even more
i don't really know what happened but I know I lost money in it all.
there was a class action law suit and i think i got 88 cents back out of the deal
blame phil ivey its totally his fault for being the best and getting ppl to play
How about blaming the Justice Department, which cracked down on these three sites (one of which deserved it), then reversed course months later and said there was no federal law against online poker (after filing criminal charges and extracting millions and millions of dollars from the sites' owner).
Me.
I blame all of them equally. They knew what they were doing so they should all take the blame for it.
Blame is on them both, they saw it coming and didnt raised a finger to prevent it..
yeah seems to that the both of them are to blame
whos to blame, the goverment is always to blame for everything, down with the man lol
will let you know what happens
