    Quietly on the other side of the world, the Asian Tour Manila Millions kicked off on Thursday, April 18. The event boasted a massive HK$1,000,000 buy-in (approx. $129,000) and has been taking place at the Resorts World Manila.

    At the end of the first day, Joseph Cheong led and only seven players remained from the 18 who played, but four of those players added rebuys. Thanks to the addition of HK$2,000,000 from the Genting Club and Resorts World Manila, the prize pool came to a whopping HK$24,000,000 (approx. $3,100,000) and first place has been set at HK$10,428,000 (approx. $1,340,000).

    he makes good runs but i've seen him play like an absolute idiot sometimes...in this year's HU championship he made a horrible play that cost him his match, and that metldown at the final table of the world series a couple years ago was pretty terrible...but for him to make such deep runs so often is commendable to say the least

    sounds like joe cheong reads people realllyyy well but when he gets to the final couple tables the play is so good he cant rely on that alone - he starts chasing maybe a bot too much and bluffing too much thinking players will wilt to him - that's the main difference I notice in better players - If I have a big draw or good cards ur not getting me off them; specially if I know ur loose at times..no way no how.
