Fulltilt is back!! But will they accept us players anytime soon?!?

dont know if theres a thread about this yet but o well.

so it was big news that full tilt is back and owned by pokerstars. ive read in various sites that they are trying to work things out with the DOJ or something to start allowing US players in the near future. any one with anymore detailed info on this?

full tilt was great! i miss it. their software was amazing, Top Notch! too bad the shit hit the fan soon after i started playing on FT! =(

also.. do you guys know of any other pokersites accepting US players? i currently have a Juicystakes and a Truepoker account. (pokerowned should have some freerolls or something on Truepoker if you can!)

I truly hope fulltilt comes back, they had the best fast poker, that was awesome, cause u never had to wait. I have not heard anything new but all we can do is wait.

u can play on lock poker,, and zab is getting freerolls ba ck there agaon soon too. and no fulltilt will NOT be open to to usa at all, tho.

lock poker accepts NEW us players?

AS far i know,, yes they do, but u wd have to try GL:)

is the site any good?

I dont think its going to for atleast another few years, because of the US court and laws

why the hell would they accept US. thats what got them in trouble in the first place.

because theres alot of money to be made....

as far as FullTilt being ready for US players any time soon,, NO Since PokerStars bought it out they are now open for the rest of the world. Maybe when our economy and government decide to level out it will happen but don't hold your breathe or you will die from lack of oxygen.

As soon as the feds can agree on their pound of flesh, US players will be allowed

I tryly hope they let back united states players. they had the best poker limits and games. I do not think though that it will happen anytime soon, but I hope for my sake I am wrong

I really hope some sort of agreement can be hatched out between OL-Houses and the government...its looking a bit grim though :/

Probably not. They won't accept US players before Pokerstars does as they are now under the same ownership.

It very hard to predict how poker is perceived by the legislatures, and thus I do know when poker will be legalized lol

i see it happening in the very near future, theres a bill in congress now thats looking good from my understanding so maybe january, if not then w/in 6mos i believe so sometime next year almost for sure.

FTP was great and it is still now. It still looks exactly the same and all, but somehow it feels different because it is now no longer a private poker company but a subsidiary owned by pokerstars parent company. If only GBT had bought it.

I hope PokerStars comes back to the USA Market but leaves FTP out of the USA it's so much better that way and PokerStars had no problem paying US Players .

What dont u ppl realize that its no longer owned by the same group of ppl that fkd us? If u have no problem w/PS then u shouldnt have a problem w/FTP since FTP is now owned by PS's ppl.

is full tilt down for any1, keeps trying to connect but nothings happening. thanks for help.

All I know is that it felt good to hear the little "ding" when I opened up my FullTilt software and logged in. My bankroll was stolen by the DOJ and was $0 ballance but playing Rush Poker for play money brought back happy memories. (Only played 4 hands lol)

I dont see FT coming back Maybe stars within a year or 2 as soon as repubs stops doing whats "best for us". If the people really wanted it back they wouldnt have voted for any republicans.. Also if people really wanted it back it takes the community as a whole to write letters to there congressmen/women. Join PPA and get them letter sent!!

Who really cares about full tilt there are so many poker site does it really even matter

sure.. but sites like pokerstars and fulltilt have amazing promos, tournys, events, etc... incomparable...

u must put fulltilt out of mind for now LOL< wont be back for USA anytime soon. i,m not even interested enuf to download, log in and see if my small amount of moeny is still there..

The only thing i miss about full tilt is my money. JustSayn............

poor americans and their doj.... you will get your money back it will just be slow.......

nice point i sure am glad no republican is in office.

Full tilt is also not opened for us, in Europe, in some countires...And i'm glad that this is not...

i been reading that the guys who are sponsoring this poker bill are playing it down, i'm afraid its not looking good

Probably not. On a side note though, did see a commercial for FTP on the MMA live stream last night.

I just started a Lock account a couple weeks ago, so they are accepting new U.S. players.

The only way Full Tilt will ever be allowed to accept US players is the same for PokerStars. The US government will have to pass legislation that allows for online poker, and it will be totally regulated by US law. Then, if and when that happens, FTP and PS will have to adjust what they are doing to comply with the "new" US requirements. It isn't going to be any time soon IMAO. Maybe in the next couple of years.

fulltilt/ pokerstars wont come back until the government accepts and that wont happen until the economy improves

I agree with u rdog they do things for a reason same reason mj taking so long but it will come the people want it

I will not play at Full Tilt more. I lost confidence in them.
