Online poker is back: Legal website launches in NV
Only for Nevada residents, but it's a start
;)
Wished I lived in NV lol
it is a start, a good start i think its going to another gold rush
whts name of site
Ultimate Poker
UltimatePoker.com
They get to cash out fast in person, nice.
Very nice, hopefully this trend takes off, and other states start doing it, or gets opened up to other states
lol they seriously should have thought a little more about a name.
It's a very good start! I think i'm moving to las vegas....Nope, not a chance I love Texas!
That's great news for USA residents who participate in online gambling
good that they finally got something that is becoming legal again....I live in Utah though and am sure it will never be legal for my state to play online poker...but they cant stop anyone from playing the game...there are always loop holes
LOL, i agree pooffy
888 POKER also got licsensed, but are not open yet. And what about Nevada's underhanded moves, undermining every effort by other sites to get legalized, and then the bastages become a turn coat and offer online poker. After crying and whining about online poker. Talk about a Judas. It's a good thing lawbuying, and vote buying is legal in the USA, otherwise it might be,ssshhh, illegal.
this is a great start i live in kentucky and it is strict here about were we play so i hope this is the frist of many
You have to start somewhere. It's something anyway. I first step in the right direction.
gl playing online poker Americans, hope soon enough u all will be able to play :)
its a positive start for the usa online players..i can care less these days, live is better..gl though
This is terrible news for U.S. players. Well those outside of NV. that is. Las Vegas has been losing money as a city (yeah Mr. Wynn is still doing well), and has been looking for the solution to losing revenue due to increased acceptance of casinos in other states. Fact is people do not have to fly to Vegas to play anymore, they just gas up the car and drive a couple towns over to the local casino. Well now that Nv. has its foot in the door you can bet your ass that they will litigate fiercely to keep a monopoly on the rights to license all domestic gaming. Which means very little broad competition in the market, and a well established and crooked auditing commission. Plan on paying Nv. and federal taxes on every dollar in profit even if other states are allowed to participate. More than likely state lottery commissions will run any precedented sites. Freedom. Ugh.
this is such a big step im so pumped other states will grab on to this so they can make some money as well hope it does well.
It doesnt bother me if Nevada gets some cash out of it or the federal gov. As a whole we need the money. I cant wait for it to be legal in california. Freaking awsome!
At least we are moving the right way for online poker.
Whats the name of the site?
POker stars is the best! come on and play together, Greetings
that is crazy, if you live in Nevada you might as well play live
This is a good start but it shouldnt just be limited to Nevada or New Jersey and whatever else they have approved. The site coming this fast is good but every state should be able to play. Ill just continue to play on merge until they ban US players.
lol mursillis, ultimate poker. But as Loweman stated, there are states like Kentucky that get excluded by many sites, and it's all becuase of misinterpretation of KY laws. Other states that are excluded have clear laws prohibiting them from playing, but KY is in a 'gray' area, neither legal, nor illegal. Now i'm down to about 7 sites i can play on, before black friday i had 49.
This is just the first step. Others will quickly follow. I hpoe the other states do so quickly.
niceeeeee......................................... ..
Wish they were publicly traded lol next boom is soon to come
its about time, now lets get the rest of the usa on board
can i still play on it if i am not in nevada ?
This is so promising. I can't wait until PA gets some online poker action.
shit, now i have to move to nevada, oh well well worth it.
I keep my fingers crossed for all you US guys for a better poker future...
Thats all that was needed. Once one state takes off you know the rest are going to follow and quickly.
