Its funny how CBS says the casino is suing Ivey when they had it on yesterday. Why would Ivey sue if he was cheating. Its the casinos fault for having messed up decks.

There must be another side to this story; being known to not pay big winners would kill their business, I would think. Although, it sounds like he lost a few mil before the monster comeback, so maybe they thought he was cheating somehow. He has done a few "questionable" things over the years, but when you are at the top, you walk with a bullseye on your back.

Hmm wonder what the details are on this situation, why are the managers of this casino with holding his funds? Wish we could hear the casino's side of the story. Maybe Phil was colluding with the oriental female he was with. This is a one sided story. What's really going on? Any one know the casino's tale of the take? Wonder who will win this law suit? They are saying that the cards were rigged and you could tell from the back of the card if the card was small or big. Basically the edge of the card were different when you look real closely. Now is it Ivey's fault or the casino's?Quote:

I don?t think he will get the money. Maybe he will win in the court, but I don?t think he will get the money anyway. Because if he win in the court, I think the casino will be bankrupt, and don?t have the money.

Phil Ivey’s August 2012 visit to London’s upscale Crockfords Casino has evolved into a legal battle in the wake of Crockfords’ continued freeze on Ivey’s ?7.8 million (US $12.1 million) in winnings over two nights of play. Ivey logged the huge win at a variation of baccarat called punto banco over two nights of play, only to have the casino refund his original ?1m stake, but decline to pay out the winnings. Ivey filed a lawsuit in early May, with Crockfords officials quickly responding via the British press that Ivey and an unnamed female companion conspired to take advantage of improperly cut cards featuring a “full bleed” design, which, when rotated allowed Ivey and his companion to identify important cards before they were dealt. I think this is hilarious and it will probably be 10 years before it ever gets to court.
