For whatever it's worth, I transferred/sold JasonColeman $5.00 on Juicy yesterday for points coming from him and it went through without any problems on Market Place. I didn't know anything about the Escrow option and even transferred the cash to him before I got the points. Maybe I was stupid, but I knew he had been on PO for a long time and he even took the time to tell me about using Escrow in the future to protect myself. Anyway, I hope you two get things worked out, but I had a very upfront and easy transaction with him just yesterday.
