Thanks for the post man. If you don't know my story, here it goes. About 3 months ago I went from $0 to almost $4,000 in the span of 6 weeks, before dusting off $1500 in the span of 3 days. I banned myself a day from real money games because I was so tilted. The next day I decided to cash out the remaining money from my account. I really love the competition of playing against the best. I like it more than the actual $$$ tbh. Having said that, I really needed the $$$ so I definitely made the correct decisions on the back end. I have $0 in my Carbon account once again. I actually am still down according to SharkScope on tracked mtt's. I took some pretty big shots a few times throughout the <1,000 games I have played. Had a few decent scores, just got screwed big time in some key spots for huge $$$ implications. For instance, I got 4th in a $109 PLO8 mtt for like $500+. Lost a pretty sick hand or would have no doubt shipped it for like $2,000 more. Another time I lost flopped top set that got rivered by middle set. Was like a 200bb pot with 18 left in a $60 35k. Would have easily been a top 3 score, as I would have had like 4 times more chips than the next nearest player. I could iterate a few more sick spots. It is pointless though... shit happens. Its all about putting in some serious volume. My <1,000 game sample size is a joke. I know of a member that was up over $35,000 before he fell on hard times and actually played PO FR's for a week or two to get back on track. The player is AAAAAllin. He is killing it now this month. Thing is, he has played over 70,000 games in just over 1 year on Carbon. I definitely need to volume it up, and manage tilt.
