Hand 1 - I think you played it fine after the flop. But I personally wouldn't play A8o with 2 people left to act. That leaves you 4 people before the flop to act after you that could have a higher ace.

Hand 2 - I don't like the way you played after the flop. You had roughly the right pot odds to call before the flop, so that was fine. However the villains bet and 3bet after the flop shows some real strength. You have a monster draw and are the favorite in the hand, but not by a large enough percentage that you should be getting all of your chips in the middle on a draw. You have a good sized stack to play with, and while this was a great flop for you, it's not good enough to want all your chips on the line for it. I think you just got lucky that he folded to the 4 bet. He almost certainly had you beat at this point in the hand.
