1.1mil in a month isn't fun. But I guarantee you some pros (im sure Ivey incl.) have lost that much in one session. Take the 'Big One For One Drop' for example- 48 entries, 39 of them lost 1mil. Also imo, the best players are more focused on their game and less focused on hyping themselves in the media.
