    I think mainly skill, but you also need a little (or sometimes a lotta) luck. If someone you see is consistently ITM, at final tables, etc. I think that proves they have skills. I mean how consistently lucky can you get in my opinion.

    The best way I have heard it described is this. Can you intentionally lose in poker? Yes. You could fold every hand and lose everytime. Your odds of winning/losing are completely determined by your actions. Can you intentionally lose in roulette? No. Your odds of winning and losing are the same no matter what your actions are. Poker is a game of skill that involves luck.
