Untrue! I recently traded PokerOwned points for Poker Stars money. It can be done, but you will have to advertise a lot and pay well, because only non-Americans can help you out. To give you an idea of the "going rate", I started by offering 3,000 points for $5 on Stars, but I couldn't find any takers. After about a week, I managed to find someone to trade me $3.00 on Poker Stars for 2,000 points. Expensive, but for someone like me who does not want to deposit, worth it.
