PO State of the Union - September Edition

Been a while, we were long over due.

- First and foremost, most of the people in the community have done a really awesome job contributing to the growth we've experienced the last few months, whether it's by running freerolls, helping others with offers, referring members, etc. I feel like the site has taken leaps and bounds and you are all to thank for that.

- Shugwhite is helping us out with all of our social media. If you haven't already liked our pages, please add us on facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pokerowned) and twitter (http://www.twitter.com/pokerowned). As we grow there will special bonuses and announcements only on our social media platforms.

- For all the sports fans, we have a monthly contest every month for the most ridiculous parlay, a weekly NFL pick 'em contest and a survivor pool for the upcoming season. Details are listed in our sports section of the forum.

- The PO leaderboard contest is in its 2nd month, and it looks like people are going to town to win it. Any member of the site is eligible as its a passive promotion, gl to all of you.

- As I've seen an uptick in new membership on the site (and welcome all of you), if you haven't already made 2 posts in the forum to access chat, feel free and join us. Also I would ask that you respect everyone else in the community and not ask other members that you don't know for loans/stakes - we have forums you can make requests for stakes in, as well as a loan shark.

- Due to the rising fees of bitcoin, I'm making a slight change to our process. We will still not charge any fees for your btc redemptions, but I have to group them so that we don't take big hits on it. The schedule during the week will be sometime in the AM (typically 8-9 AM EST), early afternoon (1-2 PM), evening (6 PM ish) and a last call at the end of the night (which I will announce in chat). On the weekends it will be a little more flexible for NCAAF/NFL, but in general we will get on a more regular schedule.

- The PO Leaderboard tournament will be on Tuesday, September 5th at 9 PM EST for those who qualified. For each month going forward, the tournament will be held on the 5th of the month. All of those are eligible will receive a password; I realize that I can't make a time that suits every single person, so I'm offering the ability to transfer your entry to another member (singular) of the site, whether you either can't make the tournament or want to help out someone else.

- We should have at least 1 new offerwall coming in this month. When it is live I will let all of you know, but there are a TON of untapped points on it. Also working on a new survey router.

- Finally, we have a lot of irons in the fire for new things here which I'm gonna keep under wraps for now, but definitely things the community will be excited about.

In response to this, I'm offering up my entry to oVITOo, who single-handedly, (other than Rivdee), did more to reward "current" members of this site, while also finishing in the top 10 in the client category in the "client poker" section of last's month's Leaderboard Contest.

If he declines, I will be offering it up to BAMABOYZ420 or steveg78 (in that order) for finishing outside the top 10 in the main, but high on the "client poker" section of last's month's Leaderboard Contest.

I should have mentioned the seat is only transferable to Italians. In this case it works because its Vito, but in general...just saying.
