Is it good to just call the big blind or for deception or raise???
I hate limping with aces, with my luck someone will play 2, 7 offsuit just for the hell of it and end up hitting a full house.
I think that is going to depend on what the blinds are, what you are looking are at as far as a chip stack and how your table is playing at the time. I figure all three in when I get those hole cards. Most of the time I find myself performing a slow call.
Hi jbolto1!! I think it's depends your stack...If you are short stack you have to go all in...But if you have a good stack you can prepair a trap...GG!!
Never limp aces. As they say aces win small pots and lose big ones. Play them aggressively and hope someone wakes up with KK or QQ preflop.
Well depends what tourney oor what cash you play . If you play a tourney with a big buy in where are many pros , you might limp , and reraise . If you play a freerol , you definetly should raiise 3.5x 4x , and depends what are the blinds and how many blinds you have .
raise to all in !!!
Always raise the blind or go all in with Aces to keep them fish from catching their hands
i've pushed all in 9 times this month and lost 7 out of nine... it's been a rough one... but because of freerolls....
But freerolls is just another poker. The only thing you have to have to play freerolls is luck I think
for me it's "BANZAI" all in.....
i never slow play aces because it seems everytime i do they get cracked
no matter what i like to raise usually around 5 6 times the blinds. never know what people have if there is no raise...so its best to raise.
live poker, i always slow play. online, i always raise. thing about freerolls that sux, is that a-a isn't much of a favorite w/ 4 or 5 ppl in a hand, but even if 5 ppl go all in in front of u, it's impossible 2 fold a-a. then it turns n2 poker lotto. saw a guy go all in w/ a bunch of chips 4 a tiny pot, yesterday, w/ 5-9, & get called by sumone w/ a-a, and the 5-9 flopped a str8. the guy didn't play crazy poker, usually, except 4 that hand, & then he flopped a str8. hmm.
If you are in the big blind with Aces and there was a lot of limpers I think you should defenitely raise it and raise it big
Dont ever play aces slow play, becouse you will lose. If to much players go all in before you act i meen is beter to fold, never now what will be on the board but estimate along. Always i bet with the aces becouse i must bet !!!
wait, but if there are bets on the turn to bet
never limp with AA, if you are the big blind and are dealt aces, someone raises 3-4x BB, thats the only time where you would just call, any other position, i would re raise, but do not go all in unless your short stacked
You should always raise with AA.
If it is a turbo and you only have like 10-15BB, I would shove.
If you limp with your aces just be prepared to fold the aces like you would fold a pair of three's on a kqt board. Limping isn't as bad as some may think against the right opponent. Once you limp with the aces make sure you maintain a full offensive after the flop. This way your opponent is calling instead of you. Since your controlling the betting you won't have to think about calling a big raise or push on the river. In case you do run into this just remind yourself you limped with aces and there are five bloody cards out there! Hope this helps :)
AA has disappointed me so many times that I do not want to play XD
I always limp in under the gun, raise in al other positions ... no risk, no win
this sounds like a donk answer, but on full tilt many players dont have the discipline to fold aces no matter what happens so just go all in with them preflop. if eveyone folds u picked up a small pot if you get a call at worse u are a 3 to 1 favorite. best advice is to not out think yourself with rockets. hope this helps you see my point of view
you gotta play the aces aggressively. if you dont bet big preflop, you better be ready when the fish calls and end up winning the hand
all in allways
it depends of the situation. But almost always you should raise with a pocket of aces
Hi man!! This is the best hand of poker...Always raise with this hand and depending on situation go all in!! GG!!
How are you really play AA correctly? Well I does fold it once in a while. On the bubble on example.
yeah slow play doesnt make sense at all with aces, each bet under 6BB is like card for free to opponent
i always reraise with my ace's.... so u can win....
i always play aces differently depending on the situation/game/chipstack,etc. but i do feel you need to at least reraise with them because slow playing barely ever works out
Raise, Re-raise, Shove.. No calling no limping. Raise for maximum value we don't want those limpers seeing a cheap flop right?
Actually I never tried slow play AA. Just pot betting. Depending on the flop I will push or not. But not will I slow play it.
it doesnt seem to mater how i play them, my rockets get cracked 80 to 90% of the time.
They say pocket aces, you win small or you lose "BIG",,,seems to work out for me that way...
either a big re-raise or shove all-in with me now. if someone calls they have either a smaller pocket pair or high cards like AK AQ AJ KK QQ or KQ which you'd have dominated anyway. dont give the chance to people with the likes of 78 89 9,10 etc to hit a straight make them fold before the flop and narrow down the field to which you have dominated 92% of the time (i wouldnt say KK or QQ is dominated as the amount of times ive seen them win over aces even though mathmatically they are)
i folded pocket 6's today as UTG raised to £1.20, I called, BB re-raises £3. UTG 3 bets with £6... alarm bells ring (aces are about somewhere with betting like that) i chuck my hand to the much, BB goes all-in, UTG calls.
BB shows the pocket rockets and UTG i persume is feeling sheepish, turns pocket queens, nothing comes to help the queens and aces have it. when 3-4 raises have come pre-flop it usally always means aces.... tread carefully
aa is so overrated threre is all sorts of ways to play them
