Omaha is the most skilled game and fun ever. :)
Lots of variance in the game ... it's just unavoidable. Pushing with current nuts vs monster draw is a frequent occurrence.
Guess if someone is a perfect Omaha player, he can make a lot of money...
like the game play it on hero for free
but there is a lot of shove and pray for sure
IMO its just too much a luck game. I dont really see the skill involved unless the skill is folding alot. way too many see a flop or try to. If someone could explain what the skill is involved in omaha id definitely listen to opinions but at this point i just dont see what it could be..
No, definitely not, there is a strategy to Omaha as with any variant of poker. I do not have it down, but know quite a few successful cash players at higher stakes.Quote:

Omaha is the most difficult poker game for me to win. "push it in and prey" is a good way to describe it.
Not true at all, although many do play it that way. You still want to have a decent starting hand just like hold 'em.
I enjoy playing Omaha while playing HORSE freeroll. Many players play every hand. So yeah when playing a freeroll push & pray when I play a premium hand lol
When you play Omaha it best to leave your holdem mentality elsewhere ... stuff like flopping an open ended straight draw will cost you a lot unless you got something else to go with it.
why is it not very many people play omaha
Most are used to holdem and many don't even know the rules of Omaha (how many cards to use, etc.). Doubt we will see an Omaha boom in the near future.Quote:
