I think he almost plays like it's a joke when he's on those shows. Almost like he cares more about being entertaining than winning money.
Fianlly Neagreanu showed his power. But he isnt online player :/ but maybe in years, we will see him playing really good ...

I still consider Daniel a better poker player, online really is just cheap entertainment for me. Live is really the only way to play poker. You don't have many tells online, I'd much rather look at my opponent than try and guess.
its a winning session, need more then 1 to really know who is the better player...they are both beasts
The fact that he won even one match against him is impressive enough, seeing as how he was playing VB's game. Can u imagine VB beating DN in sum live poker?
Daniel Negreanu knew he had to change his game and habits to play Blom. I can't recall how long ago but I do vaguely remember Daniel saying he had to get training, more or less practice higher stakes, multi table as he could not compete at Victor Bloom's level of poker.
It really does show how practice, education and determination can overtake someone at their own game.
Back before Daniel went to PS online players would flock to his table and wait in-line to get a seat to play with him because he was an indispensable ATM. Probably would have went broke if DN went to FT.
according to Sharkscope, he's up $71k playing sng's, but down 215k playing scheduled games, on PS. I'm not sure if any of those numbers include the 124k he's down to VB or not, tho. Where did he play before PS?Quote:

lol. That was a good call. But the check on the flop, then the all in on the river made it look like he was either slow playing a set on the flop (which would be a bad idea with possible straight draws), or bluffing. lol
Both Negreanu and isildur is my favorite players, I hear about the named isildur1 in years but never know who he is.
Haha know I know he is Swedish like me, but want to be like isildur1.
After him I begin to like headsup games even more.
I saw the on Pokerstars. I think Danie is a lot better than Isildur1.

KidPoker is different, he more as live player. :D
negranu is hilarious when ever he plays poker. to play poker with him would be an honor. he is never boring and always keeps the table fresh
also negranu is like the best reader and its funny when he does it because other players dont know what do to do with their hand
I would put Daniel as the #1 player for reading skills. Even tho his talents have fallen over the past few years mostly because he has showed everyone how he plays (small ball) and how to defend against it.Quote:

Of course SOME of it is luck, especially since Isildur1 likes 2 push all-in on draws. Daniel doesn't like to play luck poker, but he's good enough to adapt to a different style of poker playing when he has to. Normally, tho, very little of DN's success has anything to do w/ luck.
