We did well, just got back from checking out the town , a lot of trees down. Didn't see any flooding, power is out all over but we never lost power, first time ever. Hope all up north are doing well.

Those of us here in Joplin, MO remain empathetic for the people effected by Hurricane Irene. I've known several people from Vermont, and when I see the pictures of the flooding there it really gets to me. It's such a beautiful part of the country.
I live in Florence, SC and the Hurricane had no effect on us. The hurricane was not that powerful, but it cause alot of damage in the up north states
I know this junky name hurricane irene... She will fuck anything up for a rock...

Hurricane Irene seemed like a big dud to me i know the northeast got hammered but in terms of major hurricanes they got off easy just asked the victims of Andrew and Katrina whose victims are still feeling the effects
