I'm going with the ps4 SInce i was a teen I have always leaned more towards playsation they have been around longer and the overall feel of gaming with playstation just feel better in my eyses.
Still kind of leaning toward PS4. Better game lineup, and this GaiKai service for later in 2014 allows streaming of PS1, PS2, and PS3 games. I have no idea how Microsoft can compete with that, being that the XB1 is not going to be in any way backward compatible.
I agree I like Playstation better also, but if you have younger kids xbox has better game selection 4 them really.

PS4 always has and always rule over Xbox. Everything about the PS is better from onling gameplay to selection.

My 16 yr old wants the ps4, my 8 yr old wants the xbox1, think i'll go with ps4 because I don't care for the xbox controllers.

Definitely PS4, I get one it will probally be this time next year. I paid $500 for the ps3 and guitar hero when it first came. I wish I had waited.

The xbox this year has a lot of features that the playstation will not have. Its called and xbox one because it can combine all of your devices to be used in just the xbox. You can watch your cable and turn off your system by kinect voice. Once you learn all of the voice commands you no longer will need your remote control. I would go with PS4. Everyone seems to like PS more than Xbox lately and it is finally balancing out.

I mostly play sports games, so PS4. I really am not a fan of the shit Microsoft tried to pull, but then were forced to take back after receiving a lot of hate from consumers (i.e. requiring a code that would have eliminated the secondary market for games and making a Live subscription pretty much mandatory). It just shows the route they plan to take in the future.
Sounds like to time to get a cheap xbox 360 and wait for xbox 2 so i can get xbox 1

honestly i think the ps4 is out of control....same with the xbox1....but honestly i have the ps3 and i havent done as much as hooked up the blue tooth let along us the 80gigs or w.e the amount is...i just pay the games and keep it moving....hands down any sony product is my choice

Xbox 1 is currently IMO above the PS4 in both release and future release titles. Support from MS is also slightly less annoying than PS.
If it was pre 360 era gaming i would demand PS over MS due to the best games from Japan only being ported to PS but they seem to finally start porting all the way around, even to the Wii U for some of the more unique ports.
All in all depends if you prefer shooters/action games or RPGs(JRPGs)
