i went to go to a movie with a friend on frifay also,, but movie we went to see was gone from the theatre.. so we ended up seeing this one, casue was nothing else... defo not worth seeing,, but i didnt falll asleeep like mr Duck lol......i woiodnt recommend tho,, only saving thing was,,, if u a woman,, Ben affleck looked good in the movie lolol.. and that wasnt near enuf even to recommend this to any one

So i decided to catch a movie on friday night. somehow in my mind i thought runner runner was the sequel to Rounders. to my surprise it was some JT movies. Fell asleep 15 mintues into the movie. had a good ass nap.

Yep says JT as the leading star along with afleck lol prob would of been good to know what your watching before buying the ticket. I went to a theater to watch signs when it first came out, and fell asleep. After that I researched any movies out before going to see it lol.

The previews pretty much show that its a movie about an online poker room and the corrupt owner and never allude to it being a sequel to Rounders at all.

im looking forward to a rounders sequel it is very preliminary but the actors and writers have agreed to it with harvey weinstein backing it, im a bit of a (filmophile)

first i didnt get it when u said "poker MONEY" in the title, but now i get...lol...well....it doesnt matter for me what kind of movie i watch..i always fall asleep.....only "movies" that make me stay up its porn and even so not always....dunno why it happens but i just cant avoid it, nothing that really catches me in movies ........... O.o

This movie doesn't talk about the reality of poker like the movie rounders. And the title is pretty funny, I bet he named it after losing to "runner runner" straights and flushes on pokerstars,lol.

Never caught my interest. The actors obviously don't scream out as a must see, but I was willing to give it a chance, then I read what the movie is about: The plot is actually that the JT looses in an online game and thinks/proves the software is cheating, So he flies to Costa Rica to confront the owner (Affleck) and alert him to the problem That is about the dumbest plot to a poker movie you could put together. The online cheating software angle is interesting, but only Hollywood would have a character jumping on a plane to "take care of the situation" Some gringo running around popping off in Costa Rica would be strung up about 15 minutes from opening his mouth.
