Not only that but it is really the other players raping you, not Merge.

I think it's a matter of play style. Pushing hard when you do sort of shows you have something aklready, and they still have 2 cards to better it. If i see low key cards on the table, and someone shoves when I'm rocking AK or KQ etc, I usually call.
