Help!!!
45 or 90 person SnG would be the way to go. There the most profitable SnG anyway. Might consider taking a break halfway (30 minutes) before the other one starts for a few minutes. Just walk away from the computer when your SB, BB, sit out the blinds.
Play shorter tourneys or find something to keep you entertained while you play so you dont bored .
Its obv because you have played for such a long time and when things aren't going your way, you can get on tilt easily. Play smaller tournaments or smaller buyins.
try shorter mtt if that is your case, like 2.20, 5.50 or 11 dollar sng 45 man..gl dude
Drugs will make you not give a $hit and you'll have no ides how much time is invested.
Yep, play shorter tourneys. That seems pretty obvious. Going on tilt will cost you too much money.
yep.....hahaha...Attachment 815.......best answer dude........
you need to take a break and think very good your decisions man :D
if you're feeling tilt even less than four hours just take a break until you cool down you cannot avoid playing long hours if you really love playing mtts
Use the brakes properly! Chill, eat something, and forget about the game!
I also recommend playing while listening to music.
MTTs are a marathon so you gotta stay patient and pick your spots and if you feel like your tilting let it go and concentrate on the next hand.
i stay on tilt hence the name
How are you supposted to call yourself a Poker player if you only can play 4 hours in a tournament?
Try practice play a tournament that last 12 hours+. :)
If you really want to play MTTs you and you lose your patience, you should try and look every player at your table on OPR or Poker Pro Labs and note them on how good they are and when you have done that try and play a small buy`in heads up in the meantime.

dude i recommend u to try listetning to music when u seem to be on tilt and begin eating something that makes u realaxed and makes u take better decisions..
back to turbo shorter stack tourneys - they keep you interested,
I have the same problem. So I play a lot of turbo tourneys now.
play turbo torunies, or play smaller field ones. gl

play shorter tourneys or take a break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know if turbos are the way to go, Any game you play your gonna run into people who are gonna take chances, some will get lucky, some won't.... but at turbos the blinds go up so quickly it forces people into taking more chances. And if you go on tilt just from playing a long time, imagine how much it will suck when you feel like you keep getting taken out on draws. I think playing smaller s'n'g's is probably the better option. If you want, give them both a try and see which one suits your playing style better.
Cash games or super turbos. I think I would go with the Cash game instead.....
I think it is all about luck and the software. This has happened to me several times.. I am leading on top 3 positions and towards the final it all goes down hill
Yeah have need a break.. this is good one moment ;)
it happens the same to me
this sounds very much like me hehe, 4h + and ill snap if go out on MTTS
same here , especially if my monster hands keep losing like yesterday after 4&a half hours of play my AA lost 99 ,
do you guys mean a cheap freeroll or a real buy in tournament?
If it's a freeroll I really want to get first so I play more loose and try to double up..
On a good tournament I will always keep doing my best.
When I get that deep into a tourney, I find myself playing better since there is more of a chance to win some big money. If you are lucky enough to make it that far, try not to tilt and try thinking about the prizepool.
I watched a guy do this when i was getting deep yesterday - he shoved like K 10 $50k in chips and donked on like qq. He said he was getting tired...it was obvious - this was our 3rd hour and nobody was busting out. last 6 guys b4 final table took like 45 minutes ez. You can definitely tell when guys are looking to get booted out. Often shoving every orbit at least. the guy coulda won the tourney if he stayed level headed. He ha dmore chips then me and I took 3rd. He took like 12th
mtt always play many tournaments and big players like the pokerowend and all
I have done everything from, take a shower to go to the store, in a 4 hour tourney, if you have lasted that long chips must allow for 20 to 30 min break
I usually get tilted after a bad beat. It seems like it is hard to play poker after..
