Petition for Zab to raise BCP BI to 150 pts like Carbon.

I would like to be able to build a BR on BCP as well as Carbon. I feel I am not alone in hoping that Zab will raise the BI to the FR's so that the PP can become in the $35 to $45 range like Carbon. I understand that BCP FR's do not have as many players as Carbon, but if Zab even wanted to charge 200 pts to get in it would be so much better. It really is kinda boring to grind a $10 FR on BCP. Maybe I am the only 1.... but I doubt it. If you guys would prefer a bigger BI for a bigger PP post itt. :cool:

It's not the amount of points really...cause even the carbon games Zab is putting in more money than the points that are bought in to them.

I would love to see a 35 bcp fr myself sounds good

I'd pay considerably extra in pts to see the PP increase. Even if its up to $25 or so.

^^^I am pretty sure this...the Carbon games are bringing in between 60-90 players, I don't think bcp is even close.

not sure about the 150 buyin but def would maybe like to see a $20 90pp buyin at least

BCP doesn't even support mac users so in my opinion that site is 2nd rate

Yeah, but I am assuming that Zab gets a hefty discount on FR $$$ he awards in FR's. All that $$$ is new $$$ that gets raked multiple times. I am assuming that Carbon doesn't require Zab to pay $ for $ to them that he awards in his affiliate FR's. Maybe I am way off base IDK. I am just seeing what we could do to have larger prize pools on BCP.... I am not ungrateful for the opportunity to make free $$$, but if there is a way to get the PP up I would be interested as I assume many other players would be.

i like only having to spend 30 points to play. my bankroll on sites comes from the games i play after making a dollar or 2 from a freeroll, not solely from freerolls.

Even a $20 prize pool would probably work..cause the minimum buyin tourney at BCP is $4...pretty much gotta win twice if you're playing from an empty bankroll to enter an MTT there.

I agree with Pooffy, BCP doesn't have the players that Carbon has. All you have to do is win a couple games a week at BCP then get into some sng's. Good Luck.

I'm on a mac.. so until the BCP mac client is completed (talked to their support, said its in the works) I'd like it to stay at 10$. Once they have a mac client more people will join which will in turn raise the points to buyin.

i was just talking bout that in the other thread, i personally prefer 2 or 3 $10 games that a $30 one, it would be nice having at least one more game up in Black Chip, maybe a sooner one, or a later whatever, i really like to play in BCP .... :)

zab has always said that he wants to bring the amount of points per tourney down whilst increasing the prizepool however to go from a $10 tpurney to $20 or more he would need to raise the points required to enter to do this...however there is simply not enough people playing atm, and if you raise the amount of points to enter before you get the regular large number base i doubt the numbers will increase

its a delicate balance to uphold and i very much doubt that this petition of yours will bare much fruition

no I like it the way it is,at least some people can afford it.and when the game absorb more people zab could make it bigger game,stars games have 40 to 60 players and still 10 dollar prize.

I'd like to see bigger payouts on BCP personally

I would like to see an increase also but any free roll that doesn't have 2000 people in it is better than nothing.

Even if it doesn't get changed I think this is an awesome site. Was planning on building my bank roll based on steps and this is far more fun and faster in my opinion. Most of the people here are great and the promotions are really cool. I love it here.

I don't play in that freeroll but I'm for it. Also, maybe a 200 point $50 freeroll might be good too.

Fuck no not in favor. That is what they have the Carbon MTT for. Why don't you petition the rise of the carbon freerolls to a 500 buyin?

how about add 2 more $10 tournaments. one at night and another in the evening.

I agree a boost in the prize pool is warranted (with a corresponding buy-in boost of course). I've noticed the field size growing in those over the past week or so.

YES! This definitely. I'd also be down for a HORSE or Hi/Lo, but I'm in the minority on that.

Here is my thoughts... Zab does a lot more for this forum then any other forum i have ever been apart of. Therefore if you don't like how he does this then go elsewhere but remember the grass isn't always greener on the otherside and you will come back realizing how great this site is.

The carbon games were initially like 100-150pts to enter and had a prizepool of $25, and im pretty sure during the early stages of carbon with this setup Zab was basically making a loss on the games. There is more to raising the prizepool than just raising the entry.

Sadly, I get no discount on the tournaments.. The only one I get some credit for is the monthly WSOPokerOwned

They don't have a coupon system and they also don't have anyway for me to track the results of the tournaments.

All those make it less appealing to me and this site (no LLBs, no promotions, no donkey bets, none of the promotions will work on BCP)

If we continue to see an increase in traffic there, I can ask BCP to get us the info we need.

Zab, you need to start holding PO events in bars.

the best way to get prizes/benefits increased is to play games at the sites you like! more rake from PO players= more leverage for Zab. Just look att carbon/aced, do you see any other forum that has 4 freerolls a day, much less with decent prize pools? keep supporting PO through raking at these sites and everything will get bigger
