What is this?

Pin the tail on the donkey is basically everyone trying to outlast and knock out 1 specific player. There are 2 sets of prize pools for this promotion on every tournament.

Sounds like fun, how do I become the Donkey?

Before the tournament starts, you have to bid on becoming the donkey. You can see how much you bid compared to everyone else. The highest bidder for that tournament becomes the donkey. Everyone is trying to KO you before you reach the top 3.

2 Prize Pools can you explain?

Prize Pool #1 (For everyone EXCEPT the Donkey):
We seed every tournament with a 100 point prize pool. We also add the points the DONKEY bids to the prize pool.

To win any points, you MUST OUTLAST the Donkey.

Example: 100 points seed + 150 points the donkey bid = 250 points for Prize Pool #1. Donkey takes 11th place. The top 10 players would split 250 points for 25 points each.


Prize Pool #2 (For the Donkey ONLY)
We take the progressive prize pools that were formerly used for Kill The Sneaks and apply it to this promotion. The prize pool could get quite high, so bidding for who has the right to become the donkey could get crazy.

You have to bid on the rights to become the donkey in an auction style format.

If you take the top 3 in the tournament you win the following:

1st Place: 70% of the prize pool
2nd Place: 20% of the prize pool
3rd Place: 10% of the prize pool

I changed my mind, I want to cancel my bid, can I do that?

Sadly no, we need those other bids in case someone doesn't actually play in the tournament we will go to the second place bid and so on.

I bid to become the donkey but I didn't win, when do I get my points back?

After the system verifies you are not the donkey, so sometime after the tournament starts.

the auction has a large potential on getting high if the prixe pool keeps getting larger and larger, i can see it easily gettin past 1k if it gets up there.

how much points do we bet, to playi in it tho,, if we NOT the donkey??like u said, id donkey, comes in 11th,, then top10 get 35 points?? that seems so little,, so wondering what the buy in to play is tho???and if donkey went out in like 25th,, does that mean the top 24 split those few pooints??? ok,, just ownderrinnnn tx:)

Theres a 200 point prize pool + whatever the donkey bid

so,, any tourney we play,, we are auto entered in this contest then??:) everyone is in it then, i guess, except the person wo wan ts to be the donkey then..

you should have a sliding scale for third place like top ten you get 10% would give you a chance to recoup a little of your money when the bidding getts out of hand. Some of these tpurney have 70 people top 10 would be a good 3rd place pay. then like say like undaer 35 maybe move to 7.. just a thought might make it more enticing to roll big

I just won 27 po points and did not do anything, did not even know about it. Guess i outlasted the Donkey.

So If You Bid On Pin the tail on the donkey and get out bid your supposed to get your points back but yet i have been out bid several times and never got points back ?????

so you put a bid of 211 points in for pin the tail on the donkey they deduct the points you get out bid and they keep the points what a deal

You get them back if you get out bid, a little after the tourney begins.
