Power hath descended forth from Thy hand. Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.

I am in 8 leagues now, and all play differently. Here are a few things I like from their league format....
1. Sitters are disqualified and hit with the -1 like you mentioned above (registering could cost more to show a true desire to play, or less if you want as many to join as possible)
2. In one league I play, there are games everyday, someone has a specific day assigned to them and they are teams of seven, so everyone is assigned to a specific day (which I don't necessarily like because I can only play once a week, but then again it does work well and makes things interesting).
3. League with weekend games only (only two games a week Saturday and Sunday) could possibly roll one of these out and call it the weekend warrior league. I like the idea of having games daily (every evening). This way everyone has the option/opportunity to join and play. I am only in one league that has the option to play in every game and its on Poker Stars. I am sure the league will have better success being ran on BCP/ACR/True, Carbon/Aced, or Bovada since real money will come with wins (I have played on skins that didn't award money, needed a ticket to enter, and is one of the best ways to advertise the league when players that do not know about PO sees "Poker Owned League" in the lobby of their favorite online poker room).
4. Only top 33% of the players pool are awarded points. Sitters lose points and hurts their individual AND team score.
5. Anything else you need specifically let me know! There are so many ways to run a league and make it fun for everyone, I would love to help coordinate. I have the next couple of days off, so let me know!Last edited by NateVest; 07-22-2013 at 11:02 AM.
