That is a good question. I would like to know what my play style is too. I'm sure i'm not a donk, and not a fish, but I for sure don't know my play style.

I found that sometimes i play so tight i get bored folding 99% of my hands.Also when i play that way i do great early on but tend to sputter out later on.So now i force myself to mix it up and have had good results........

All depends on what my players are doing and what I can and can't get away with. In Mtts, I try to stay tight through the early stages, till blinds increase a decent level. Then loosen up a bit to try and trap a few. Looking for a workable style at final tables. That's where I struggle.

But in evidence terms, in a MTT, tight early on and in the mid stages more or less spending 50% of my chips to trap a few plrs or make an image. By that time, when you get A-A or cowboys, ppl will call and you might hit a monster when there 3- or 4-handed pots.

After that, it is gravy.

I change my play according to what I'm playing. MTT vs cash games, 6-seat vs 9-seat, the usual stuff really.

Not sure everyone only has one style of play. Most players have multiple styles of play, considering the situation. I guess that's a style of play on it's own.
