    Short Handed Heads Up

I've been playing a lot of Shorthanded and heads up on Ultimatebet in order to start tables and earn double Ultimatebet points. The players I seem to run across the most are LAA or LPA. I typically lose a good chunk before the table finally fills up and then makes it easier for me to play my system. What kind of advice can I follow for shorthanded play, expecially when my opponents are likely to go all the way to showdown every time?

Depends on a couple of things. Heads up your starting hand requirements will loosen up considerably. When an aggressive idiot player sits down with equal or more money than you just don't pot commit yourself and wait till you know you have the advantage and they will pay you off. A good aggressive player will hate getting fired back at, and will respect your play a little more,an idiot will just continue to fire recklessly, simply let him think he can push you around and then when he has commited himself at the right time for you bust him! The players that sit down with the minimum amount allowed are just plain stupid if you ask me they are going into a gunfight with a plastic knife and you have the advantage of being able to take more chances with very little risk to yourself. I love a heads up match against a good player, that is why I keep wanting Grum to get to one of the final tables in the freerolls we run here but he doesn't seem to be able to step up lately

Man I would say if you are losing HU until the table fills up, then don't play heads up. Go find a full table

You gotta have big balls to play heads up. One thing you just must do in heads up, continuation bet. This is why I hate HU

when a player sits an empty table,he wants to play heads up and these type of players according to my experience are very very solid, they'll turn you into a clown if you have no experience in Heads up.
