Alas all still appears lost until a stranger appears and grants him his wish of a second chance and wipes out his debt. Now the hero of our story is free to live his dream.

Maybe we need a wall of shame so we can out folks who do this kind of thing (I gather that noloans was the asshole in this scenario). I know they can come back an create a new persona, but we can just keep outing them as well. Maybe give it a voting system such that if someone on the wall of shame gets 10 or more votes, they are zeroed and banned for 3 months.
