i understand that if i were to deposit it into an account, the bank will prob cash it and then screw me over in ten days after it didnt clear but what if i were to take it to an ace cash advance or similar check cashing place, what do you think would happen?

my dad says it has a watermark on the back.. is issued to my proper name and i looked up the bank its from and its a real bank and even a real company that sent it

I would contact that bank and see if it is good. It really doesn't look good if they are already on websites as being a scem though.
