either one is a good way to hole cards but remember AA is a pair and K A is as good as if it is suited or not. Anyway you look at it it is the beggining of the hand and how far one goes into the hand is what will tell how strong that hand really is.

it seems that full tilt punishes slow playing a big hand so i shove when ever i get it i usually shove (better to win a small pot then to lose a big one) ak is probably the most over played hand there iis........just dont get married to it when u have it .....if the flop dont hit then let it go

yeah i would defenetly take AA any day over ak. i alaways find myself getting out of tournaments with ak and the funny part is that all my chips go in vs aa so yeah i would deffenetly take aa any day.. i think we find ourselves falling in love with ak and a lot of people including myself at some time over play hands like ak and aq.. how many times do u find ur self in a coin flip situation were u go in with ak and the other person has xx pair i feel like i win half the time so maybe we should discuss better ways to play ak..sounds more interesting
