Speedway Adjustments

I'd put this in upgrades but we can't post there:

So I think we need to scale back either the number of teams, or players per team. There are players on almost every team that have played zero tournaments, and the best part is there's no one to replace them with.

We have a solid 20-25 people that play, so maybe we can do one of two things:

- 10 teams with 3 spots each.
- 6 teams with 4 spots each.

All things being equal with people cashing the relative same amount week by week, its seems like speedway is determined by who gets placed where.

This was suggested like a year ago, I think it's still on the back burner, simmering.

I agree that it is pretty much the luck of the draw. I do think it maybe needs some kind of adjustment, not sure how tho.

The ideal way (in my opinion) would be have a variable way built in to put only money winners on teams according to how many 4 member
teams could be made. if odd number of players, then there would be a pool of players to hire later in the week.

Right now you can't hire/fire until wednesday. How about this, working with your thought:
Start the week off with 6 4 person teams (or 8 3 person teams), and leave a spot open that only becomes available Wednesday.

Then you should (realistically) have the same amount of active players, and its up to the captain to actually pay attention to get another member.

it def is luck of the draw and i think 5 teams would help for sure but should make it worth more also...maybe even cost something to get in
