wah wah wah
Check the lobby, how much money does everyone else have (in terms of people between you and the money)? If not a lot, then you can try to wait it out for them to shove. What position are you in? How many people folded ahead of you? Q9 isn't really that respectable of a hand to shove on in my opinion unless you are SB or OTB and a lot of people have folded, if you have to play Q9 off, give yourself better odds by going heads-up (heads-up will give you odds closer to 40-60, 30-70 at worst while going 3 handed will give you odds of 33% of winning the pot at best and your odds are likely to be worse than that.)
I think I would wait unless it is a loose player with a wide range and the pay jump should matter.
If I were you I sit back and wait as long as you can and hope that you get the two rite cards to push all-in on!
I try not to shove unless I'm at the 10bb or less point so with 12 I'd wait a bit longer. If it was Q9 suited, though, I'd go for it depending on the table. It also depends on position-- it's best to shove on the button or one of the blinds so you have a possibly bigger pot (with all the people limping in mid position and a possible button raise).
depends if antes have kicked in yet or not, and your position...otb, sb, or maybe cutoff if everyone's folded to you and antes have kicked in, shove and hope.
q9 off would never push with it except heads up
it depends what position you are in and how others on the table are playing
lol i yesterday got points because i posted whatever but tod i got 0 points... someone know that why?
please someone answer me because now i don't know that i how to get points :/
Your just turning the hand into a bluff when you push with Q9...
because you really dont want much action with a hand like that...
you're suppose to keep the questionz coming, or this thread iz titled wrong
If the betting has not opened and you just have the blinds, if they have med. to average stacks go for it
welcome good luck to you at the tables
I would never do that especially on online poker. Live poker may be different.
I play any two cards in any position.
Stack sizes, table dynamics, reads, amount of players in your table, your image, what people perceive you as, and what position (sb/btn hopefully) your in all factors into that Q9 shove
Like, if SB and BB both had 25bbs and played tight I would open the btn with Q9 instead of open shoving because although open shoving is unexploitable you don't allow the blinds to make any mistakes against you postflop.
when is the exact date that the WSOP is supposed to begin? Also what are the best places to stay in Vegas in you're down there?
all in is my only answer and that is final . !2 bb shove
take the best of it. when your short you have advantage to make more rather than make less. try to see it that way.
I don't think it's even close to a pushing hands. 12 bb left 9 handed is like 100 hands
Definitely not, but online I've seen worst calls hit
It depends on who is at the table
I wish it could be more clear when attempting to download something for points, that once you're on the page to download, there were not 100 "download now" links/ boxes and the first 99 I do are the WRONG one(s)/ not the one that offering the points! GRRRR LOL
If it is folded around to you, then you pretty much have to shove, waiting could be costly. If it has been reraised, fold. If the big stack is calling all ins all day, you are pretty much at a coin flip.
