called win or get the fuck out. lol
I don't think there's an actual time except the fact that all ins are happening because probably majority of the players left are short stacked.
You are still early in the tourney man ... at that point.
their there thier a name what i dont even
Yeah it's mid to late tourney strategy for the short stacks. And the only thing that really dictates it is your BB or more importantly tourny M, M being the number of times the blinds + antes can go arounds befor you are out of chips.
As far as I know there is no specific name for this time during a tournament. Though this is one of the most frustrating times in a tournament if you can't find the right cards
I call it the push or fold segment...every tournay has 1 happens a little diff time ev tourney...
I call it DONKS, DONKS & more DONKS!!!!!!!!!! LMFAO!!!
I think this happens at near the end when those with short stack attempts to make it to the winning
circle by playing all in. At the end, antes are high and it will easily eat up your chips. With short
stack, there's no other way to win (be in the winning circle) but take your chance all-in.
yeah it's called right before the break here and it happens every game
No name that I know of. The reason people do this is bc they are short stacked. The rule of thumb has always been to go all-in or fold at 10 bbs or less. Your range to do so opens up significantly as well. More recently many well know players have said that all-in or fold time should start around 15 bbs. The reason for these strategies is that you are too short to make a standard raise and have anything left behind to get people off a marginal hand. Also, you are giving yourself a better chance at getting "back in the game" by doubling up with a larger number of starting chips .
When you're severely short-stacked (10-15bbs) there's no point in throwing in a standard bet. It's all-in or fold time.
it doesn't just happen with high stakes, some people do it the whole tourney, lol
Its called poker lol. You cant expect people to just limp all the time like at the beginning of the tournament lol
all the freerolls are merely donkathons to earn the right to play with more experienced folk
its called "Despair Time" .... :)
