can't really remember my first PO FR....but back then it was a much smaller field too....
it took me a while to start making ITM as I was just learning Poker....it was helpful to play a lot of the same players over and over
and it helped me start a BR since I had not made a deposit
That's awesome! Yeah I am in a similar position, looking forward for my BR to rise.
In other news, I'm 1st/11 and got a big spread from 2nd

my first tournaments i usually place in the top ten percent but afterwards, never place again lol.

First trnment here? at po or in general? i started playing poker 10 years ago...so i dont remember lol I probably won it tho.. seeing as how i made 11k that year in trnments and cash games

Finished 43rd of 66 in my first. Didn't final table until my 6th tournament.

Just play smart and have fun. Poker can be overcomplicated if you make it that way. The bottom line is that it to most, is a game and a past time, so if you have fun, that is all that should matter. You will already be a winner. Good luck and see you at the tables!
does anybody know why the free rolls keep getting kicked out and stopped right in the middle of them
finally won my first free roll in carbon. does anybody know if back to back counts no matter how far in between they are?

Dookdrawls: Very motivational and aspiring words, I will try to the best of my ability to make poker my friend and continue what works best for me. Poker is a very strategic game and much like Rock Paper Scissors, different playing styles have different outcomes which may have positive or negative results, depending on the style of your opponent.
To everyone else who wished me luck Goodluck to you all! And to all those who's game has improved since their first game good job! Fr those who's results are quite polar to these, then change your gaming style, it never hurts to experiment :)

my first tournament ever was one of those old pokerstars freerolls back when they allowed 12000 players in them and still filled in minutes. i sat down and was out in like 4 hands lol
