when you hit a set on the flop is it better to slowplay or play aggressive?
depends on the board imo....also how the game is being played....if ur in pos to a big better....there is a few things that go into play....but i would much rather check raise most of the time or flat depending on whats goin on....9/10 in these freerolls u flop a big hand ur getting paid
I don't believe in slow playing the way people catch up and donk each other out on carbon.
I slow play if in position unless there are two cards of the same suit on board.
Really depends on position and stack sizes. Out of position, Im aggressive and in posistion - it depends on how strong I think the opponent is.
A major variable is the flop, is it a rainbow flop, is it top, medium, or bottom set that you flopped and what the board is, did the board pair, if so your opponent could have a bigger boat if there are over cards on the flop. Try to include the hand in question and post it to show these variables next time. Good luck on the felts.
depends on the player you're up against. also depends on the flop too.
Yes it would most definately be a stronger set if you have PP and 1 hits the board...also is 2 of same suit or 2 or 3 cards reach each other those are all factors...gl
Keep Betting on the flop. Be cautious if the board has two or three suited cards as well as a connected flop like 567. It will also depend how many players are involved in the hand.
It depends on the board, the other players.
How many players are still in the hand??
The more players the higher the bet.
Is also depends on how many chips you got and the other players in the hand.
a short stack player maybe calls easier
but a big stack can also make a easy call if tyou dont have a lot of chips
it depends on board but mostly on the player or players u are in pot with, are they aggressive or nit,if they are nit just do what doye suggest in his book and let them catch up and slow play, and also it depends on your style on the table, what other players think of u,if u always Cbet and they know of that, not Cbetting is the abselute tell in that case, but like i said lots of factor are in matter when u have a big hand or draw big, cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers
Sometimes you have to do both in order to gain more chips. If you have a big pot after you flop trips then play aggressive. If you have small pot then slow play
